We come to you today, on the cusp of hitting that amazing Challenges mini-expansion Stretch Goal. Before we get into anything, I wanted to send out a warm welcome to those of you who are just joining us. You are in for a real treat. Our campaigns are so much fun to be a part of. Language News
We are pleased to announce that we will be making Fall of the Mountain King in German, Spanish, and French. We have Skellig Games and Gen X Games joining us right now. We are still waiting on finishing up negotiations with our French partner. But rest assured, there will be a French Kickstarter version of the game produced for you, our amazing backers. So, go and spread the word that there are more languages. And use this link to help you share the campaign: https://bit.ly/3crkNse.
Shipping News
Luckily, with Spanish and German games shipping from within those countries, we can easily reduce the shipping costs for those countries. And because of that, we were able to move a few things around and change the shipping prices for a few other countries. Please check below to see if you have a new shipping price. For those of you whose shipping has not changed; do not fear, I am continuing to look for better prices. We will definitely keep you in the loop about it.

Another Stretch Goal, One Amazing Mini-Expansion, and a Contest

Hey Trolls,
It has been a beautiful and sunny day here in Toronto. And what better way to enjoy this beautiful weather, then writing up an update. Before we get into any of it, I'd like to welcome all of our new backers that have come to the campaign since our last update. We've been having a really great time here on the Fall of the Mountain King campaign!! You're in for a real treat. And thank you to those of you who have stuck with us since the beginning. Without all of you, we wouldn't be where we are today. Now, let's get to it, shall we?

What We're Working On
Talk about replayability! This mini-expansion is so exciting. I've been busting at the seams waiting to get this out to you! Sharing hidden challenges in a multiplayer game, with both the player to your left and to your right!? YES please! What I especially like about these challenges is that they can also be used in a 2 player game as well as solo. So, put your thinking caps on backers, because early this week we'll be releasing details about our Create-a-Challenge Challenge. Yes! That's right! Are you up to the challenge?

What About Other Languages?
We are still working out some details but it is looking like we're going to be able to make some games in other languages. I can't say which ones quite yet, but it will happen soon. Rest assured!

Some really amazing news for you today, brought to you by Skellig Games. We also have some information about Game Trayz and that Stretch Goal that we have unlocked. Before I get into it, as I always do, I would like to welcome all of our new backers since our last update, and thank all of our backers that have been here since the beginning; we are so happy to have you here with us! We couldn't do this without you. Now, on to the other important stuff ...

News From Germany
While we won't have all of the details ironed out until tomorrow, we'd like to welcome Skellig Games to our team. Skellig Games will be producing both the Kickstarter and Retail versions of the game in German. They will be making the Kickstarter version available to backers through this campaign only. They are writing an introduction and will provide us with this tomorrow. So, look out for it.
Game Trayz
Here are some initial concept renders of the individual player trays that will come with the game. They put all of your starting components in one place, so setup is as simple as grabbing your tray from the box! Gosh, we really do love ourselves some Game Trayz. They are still working on the base tray, we will show you images as soon as we see them!

Day 2: Blasting Through Stretch Goals

Hello Trolls!
I would never have believed I would say this, but with $186 804CA pledged, 287% funded, 1711 backers, and still 22 days to go, we have hit 2 MOREStretch Goals! Before we take a look at what we have unlocked, I would like to give a warm welcome to all of our new backers since our first update and tell our backers that have been here since the beginning that we are here because of you. Your efforts have boosted us to heights unimaginable!! So, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
What We've Unlocked Since the Last Update
Shaped wood is one of my favourite things in board games. So, of course, we needed to shape these influence markers. And what better shape than the Troll hand?
Of course, we want as much replayability as possible with this game. So, we've added another Champion to the mix. Check him out!

Hey there Trolls!
We funded! That was fast!!
If you know the sensation of refreshing the page every few minutes (because I have been doing that since 9am), you know that we are beyond excited. We're so happy to have you here with us, and pleased to see so many of you back for another Mountain King campaign. Thank you SO much for helping us to make this game a reality. Welcome to all of our die-hard fans, and to those of you who are joining us for the first time. You are all in for some serious Troll treats.
What We've Unlocked
YES! We've funded, and couldn't be more proud and thankful to all of you for making it happen.
This Stretch Goal is very much a must to have on your table. The sculpted War Hammer will make you feel like a much more powerful Troll!
My favourite of the Ice Trolls, Lygga is so loved. She is an incredible leader that gains honour for every Troll of yours anywhere in her Domain at the end of each Wave.
What We're Working On
We really didn't anticipate this going as fast as it has. But we've got our next Stretch Goal prepared. These fierce Influence Markers will be shaped like mighty Troll hands instead of standard discs. You never knew you wanted Troll hands until you have them within your reach (and they'll stay in reach instead of rolling away off the table).
What You Can Expect Over the Coming Weeks
We'll try to update you at a regular pace so that we don't block up your inboxes with Fall of the Mountain King emails. When we do, we'll be updating you with information about Stretch Goals we've hit, Stretch Goals we're striving for, and any other exciting news about the campaign.
We'll also try to get you as engaged in the campaign as we can. We find that the more we hear your voice, the more fun you have, and the better the game turns out.
